What do we expect of our students?

A group of students discussed what sorts of things teachers and
parents could expect of them. Here are the results.

As students we will...

  1. respect adults, each other and the school buildings and grounds.
  2. try to do our best in the classroom.
  3. be helpful to others and play fairly.
  4. listen to the people who are trying to help us.
  5. co-operate with each other and be good role models.

How can you best support your child and us?

We would like you to...

  1. be familiar with how the school works and share your ideas and concerns
  2. send your child(ren) to school on time each day ready to learn, dressed appropriately and having had breakfast and enough food for lunch
  3. support your child(ren) by encouraging an enthusiasm for learning and good homework routines
  4. take time to listen and talk to your child(ren)
  5. appreciate your child(ren) by praising and encouraging their efforts daily.
